Jay-Z files to dismiss rape lawsuit with Sean 'Diddy' Combs, demands end to 'extortion saga'

Jay-Z and Sean 'Diddy' Combs accused in refiled lawsuit of sexually assaulting a minor during the 2000 MTV VMAs

BREAKING: Jay-Z accused of raping 13-year-old girl in a Diddy lawsuit

A day after being named in a sexual assault lawsuit involving Sean "Diddy" Combs, Jay-Z filed a motion to dismiss the case, according to court documents obtained by Fox News Digital.

Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, also urged the court to deny the plaintiff’s request to remain anonymous. The lawsuit accuses the rapper and Sean "Diddy" Combs of raping a minor during an after-party following the 2000 MTV VMAs.

In his filing, Jay-Z alleged that attorney Tony Buzzbee, representing the plaintiff, is orchestrating what he called a “sprawling extortion saga,” claiming the accusations are financially motivated.

The lawsuit, originally filed in October, was refiled on Sunday in New York by an anonymous accuser who alleges that Jay-Z "raped" her while Combs and "Celebrity B" looked on.

Jay-Z's representatives have yet to respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.
